Impact of Supplying Allergy Food Initiative
So far, through SAFE's supplying allergy food initiative, over 1,100 pounds of food has been donated to its partner pantries. Since “each meal is roughly 1.2 pounds of food”(according to FeedingAmerica.org), it can be deduced that so far, SAFE has helped provide approximately 1320 meals to those with food allergies facing food insecurity.
Impact of Supplying Education Initiative
While SAFE's supplying education initiative can’t necessarily be measured and quantified, the pantries where it has been implemented have said that copies of the magazine are constantly being taken, and customers find it super helpful.
So far, we have distributed over 700 copies of E.D.I.T., SAFE's monthly released magazine, to SAFE's partner pantries.

SAFE on WCPO 9 News
Recently I had the wonderful opportunity to be featured on WCPO 9 News's Positively Cincinnati segment having the chance to talk about SAFE and precisely what it is, what we do, and what we've done. Positively Cincinnati highlights efforts being taken by those in the local Cincinnati community to make it a better place, and I had the chance to be interviewed by Kristen Hartman, who runs this segment. I truly hope you'll watch the short clip to learn more about SAFE and will hopefully be inspired to help SAFE out in any way you can.
